
Dr. Harriet Fraad, a psychotherapist and one of the pioneers of Second Wave Feminism in the United States, has sent a message of support for the Peace and Democratic Society Process.
The message reads as follows:
"Like all human beings the world over, the Kurdish people deserve to live in peace. Basic human kindness is all that is asked. It is not a radical demand. In the name of humanity, recognize Kurdish dignity."
Harriet Fraad is an American feminist activist, psychotherapist and hypnotherapist. She has been practicing psychotherapy and hypnotherapy for 37 years. In 1968, she co-founded the Women’s Liberation Movement and became recognized as one of the leading figures of Second Wave Feminism. Together with her husband, Marxist economist Richard Wolff, she also contributed to the founding of the journal Rethinking Marxism.
